The Northwest Advanced Materials Cluster Hires Gotham Marketing for
Workforce Preparation Strategy

HICKORY, N.C. – North Carolina public relations and marketing firm Gotham, LLC will work with the Northwest North Carolina Advanced Materials Cluster to build awareness for the region’s Workforce Preparation System (WPS) and Career Readiness Certificate program.

Established in 2007, the Advanced Materials Cluster is a public/private partnership for economic development in Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes counties purposed to enhance research, education and economic infrastructure.

Working in concert with the state of North Carolina, Wilkes Community College, Education Development Centers and the Chambers of Commerce in Wilkes, Ashe and Alleghany Counties, Gotham’s marketing experts will develop an integrated campaign to promote the Workforce Preparation System and Career Readiness Certificate program as a positive economic entity for advanced manufacturing companies and service businesses in northwest North Carolina.
